HRP Sporting Clays
Millen, Georgia

HRP Sporting Clays is
one of the most beautiful, challenging courses in the state, created by Marty Fisher, nationally known sporting clays designer.  It is a  unique setting in that the 12 station course is built on the location of an old dairy farm.  The dairy barn is now used as the office and lounge with a patio for those who wish to observe the shooters at the adjacent five stands.   We have a great course and offer much to a wide area of sportsmen.

FIVE STAND:  We have a five stands, known as “BIG BULL” .  Targets are thrown from the silos as well as from other towers and ground level.  Enjoy the 5-stand as a warm-up before shooting the course, for practice, or just fun shooting.  Regardless, you will find the “Big Bull”  a most challenging exercise.

WOBBLE TRAP:  Enjoyed by all shooters, the wobble trap will make you desire to shoot it one more time!!!  Quite an experience.

CLAY COURSE:    This course has been referred to as one of the best courses in the state.  It is easy to negotiate on foot or by golf cart (your own) and offers an assortment of targets for those who are just beginning, as well as for the expert competitors. Winding through tall majestic pines are stations expertly set for the novice as well as for the master shooter.
                                ................................
In carrying out the farm theme, one of the stations is located on the body of a farm truck.
                                .................................
And, in another station you will find yourself shooting from a silage wagon overlooking a pond.
Robert Jenkins, owner  of the club,  sets a course worth shooting. Each shot is "hitable", while challenging.   Excitement abounds in the atmosphere of the tournaments.  Many fun shoots as well as registered shoots are hosted by HRP with great attendance.  A warm and friendly atmosphere always dwells among the personnel and shooters.
